The photos i did this week was a series of my friends sitting on couches, what made these pictures interesting to me was the lighting and the interesting was you can make a composition with a couch. To me its interesting how the top lines of a couch divide a picture and still draw you to whats on the couch. I really enjoy all of the shapes in the second to last photo, all of the parallel lines go nicely and the shapes that are created by all of my friends sitting on the couch are very interesting.
I especially like the composition of the 3rd and 4th photos. The people almost look random and haphazardly placed, but it adds to the tone of the photo and the placement plays off of their facial expressions. I also think the black and white adds to the photos, I prefer them a little bit over the ones in color. The lighting in the last picture is very well done. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI like how you worked with simplicity and chaos. The shots you did of just one person each has it's own personality. You've worked with both centering and off center very well. In the group shots your eye moves around to all the faces encompassing the focal point of the guy in front, the closest.I like the low angle you used in the third shot. They all catch great moods and emotions with the faces and reactions.
